Drama

Trinity College London offers an unrivalled choice of new and updated qualifications for students and teachers of Acting, Communications Skills, Musical Theatre, Performance Arts, Speech and Drama, at all levels of experience and ability.

Our syllabus specifications provide a structured framework to encourage the progressive development of integrated performance and communication skills in solo, pairs and groups. Trinity’s solo and pair graded exams and diplomas are fully recognised globally by Ofqual. All of our drama exams allow teachers and candidates free-choice of performance pieces to focus on works that play to their strengths, interests or complement an existing curriculum.

Communication Skills

Trinity offers exams in Communication Skills for candidates of all ages at all levels. The exams are offered for individuals and groups at Initial (pre-foundation) to Grade 8. Trinity also offers Performance Certificates at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels, for candidates who want to focus on developing their skills in creating and delivering presentations for a range of audiences and settings.

TESOL teaching qualifications

With two billion people expected to be using or learning English by 2020, the need for teachers with high quality, internationally recognised English language teaching qualifications has never been greater.

Cochin International Language Academy (CILA), Kerala, is the only TESOL course provider in India and has been offering the Trinity College Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CertTESOL, OFQUAL Level 5) since 2013 and the Trinity College Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (LTCL DipTESOL, OFQUAL Level 7) since 2022. The CertTESOL courses are offered by CILA throughout the year both as full-time face-to-face and online courses and part-time online courses. The DipTESOL is offered as a blended learning course.
